A Modern Summer Berries Inspired Wedding Color Palette | Jackson, Wyoming

Monochromatic color palettes are becoming more popular in weddings. For this intimate August wedding in Jackson, Wyoming, the bride drew inspiration from the many colors of summertime berries. The rich hues of Mulberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Black Currant became the focus of this rich and vibrant color scheme for the bridal party flowers and the reception bud vase florals in modern glass vessels.

I loved everything about working with these colors as they were the perfect tie-in to my late-summer flower garden offerings! The florals used were rich with Dahlias, Calla Lilies, Amaranthus, and Astrantia. The eye was also drawn to the subtle pops of blush Roses and Dahlias to help lift the color palette and brighten it just a bit. The bridal hair comb and Flowergirl crown were the perfect creations to complete the look!

A Beautiful Jackson Elopement | Jackson, Wyoming

Jackson, WY is a popular location for couples who are looking to elope and it’s popularity really grew this year due to COVID- 19. The couple featured in the images below did an amazing job of facing the struggles of needing to change their wedding plans, recovering from an injury and becoming the only people at their wedding!

They persevered through it all and had a great day at the park and surrounding National Forest, even throwing together a last-minute picnic under the “Wedding Tree” to celebrate! Did I mentioned I was invited to join in that celebration?! Such a joy that day was for us all. It held some sense of normalcy and the human ability to adapt and thrive.

Anyone who spends any amount of time with me will soon discover that autumn is hands-down my favorite time of the year. When I was asked to create something using just dried flowers/foliage/grasses from the farm I was SO excited because dried flowers and grases are a true love of mine, especially in the fall. This elopement styled shoot was a great collaboration with a warm color palette of golden mustards, rust, and plum. So yummy to the eyes!

Spring Wedding Florals Create a Secret Garden | Salt Lake City, Utah Floral Design Workshop

Not many brides choose to get married March through May but I hope that this post will inspire some to change their mind about a June wedding. Spring florals are so unique and they only last for a short period of time. I loved being able to create this “secret garden” experience back in March with the lovely and special additions of Magnolia budding branches, Tulips, and Hellebores. All of these are excellent examples of rare spring beauties not found outside of this season!
